Tsars review: a 2020 casino with Interac and Trustly both ways

Tsars has traded since 2020, which makes it established rather than new. It accepts players from Canada, but its welcome offer is not available in Ontario.

If you live in Ontario, this casino and its offer are not for you. Ontario has run its own regulated market since 4 April 2022, where casinos register with the AGCO and contract with iGaming Ontario, and offshore offers are excluded there.

In Alberta, a regulated market opened under the AGLC on 13 July 2026, and unregistered operators had until 13 October 2026 to register or leave, so check that the casino still accepts Alberta addresses.

In the other provinces, the provincial lottery corporation runs the only authorized online casino, and offshore brands such as this one operate outside that system. You can still sign up, but provincial player protections and complaint routes do not cover the account.

You must be of legal age in your province: 19 in most provinces, 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Casino wins are generally not taxed for recreational players in Canada.

Licence and safety

It holds a licence from Curaçao.

Curaçao reformed its licensing in 2024 and now issues licences through a single regulator, the Curaçao Gaming Authority, which publishes a public register. A Curaçao licence covers international markets; it gives a player in Canada no provincial complaint route, so a dispute goes to the casino first and then to the Curaçao regulator.

Check the licence yourself: the casino's footer should show the licence number, which you can look up on the regulator's own site. The domain on the register should match the one you play on.

Interac works in both directions, which is usually the simplest route for a Canadian bank account. Withdrawals on file go to Interac, Trustly, Visa, Mastercard, Neosurf and Skrill.

How to withdraw from Tsars

1. Upload your ID and proof of address soon after you register, so the first payout is not held up.
2. Open the cashier, choose Withdraw and, where you can, pick the method you deposited with.
3. Make sure no bonus still has wagering left, or the request can be refused.
