What was approved
The approval covers EveryMatrix as a supplier: its casino platform, sportsbook and game aggregation, plus games from its own studio, Fantasma Games. It does not let EveryMatrix take bets from players; licensed operators use its technology to do that.
How Alberta's market works
Alberta moved from a single government site, PlayAlberta, to a market where registered private operators can offer online casino games. The AGLC regulates and registers operators and suppliers, and the Alberta iGaming Corporation handles the commercial agreements with them.
Operators that had served Albertans without AGLC registration had until 13 October 2026 to launch in the regulated market or leave.
What it means for players
For players in Alberta, more approved suppliers means more brands can launch on the regulated market, with provincial protections such as limits and self-exclusion. Check that a casino is registered with the AGLC before you sign up.
EveryMatrix already supplies operators in Ontario and several US states. For how regulated and offshore casinos differ, see how we review new casinos.
