How programs work
- Points: earned per amount wagered and exchanged for bonus money or spins.
- Tiers: levels from entry to VIP, each with better rates, faster withdrawals or a personal manager.
- Cashback: a share of net losses returned, the most transparent form.
- Gamified rewards: quests, achievements and shops that pay out in spins or bonus funds.
Work out the value
Example: 1 point per $10 wagered and 100 points exchanged for $1 gives back 0.1% of your stakes. On $5,000 of slot play, that is $5. If the reward arrives as bonus money with wagering, it is worth less still.
Compare that with the house edge: at 96% RTP the same $5,000 costs about $200 on average. A loyalty program softens the loss; it does not change it.
Pros and cons
- For: rewards you would get anyway for your play; cashback without wagering is real money back.
- Against: small returns; rewards often carry wagering; tier targets can push you to play more than you planned.
Choosing a program
- Prefer cashback in cash over points that convert to bonus money.
- Read how tiers are kept: some reset monthly.
