Information collected automatically

As you browse, we collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, and the pages you visit and for how long. Some of it is collected with cookies; our cookie policy lists them. We use it to run the site, see which pages are useful, fix errors and prevent abuse.

We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls and regular reviews of our systems. We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as the law requires.

Your rights

Send requests through the contact form.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca), or in Quebec to the Commission d'accès à l'information.

Some of our service providers may store information outside Canada. Where they do, it is protected by contract, and it may be subject to the laws of the country where it is stored.
